Auction Shipping Guide
Ship auction and eBay items safely. Prevent disputes, damage claims, and buyer fraud.
Critical Rules for Auction Sellers
- ALWAYS get tracking. No tracking = automatic loss in any dispute.
- Signature confirmation for items over (eBay/PayPal policy). Without it, buyer wins even if delivered.
- Buy insurance for valuable items. Carrier liability is only without declared value.
- Photograph item before packing. Take photos showing condition, serial numbers, and how it was packed.
- Photograph the sealed box with label visible. Proof you shipped the correct item.
- Ship within 1 business day of payment to maintain seller ratings.
- Use calculated shipping, not flat rate (unless you know exact dimensions). Avoid losing money on heavy items.
Best Shipping Approach by Item Value

| - | USPS Priority Mail | ✅ Included | Buy extra | Recommended |

eBay requires signature confirmation for items +. PayPal Seller Protection requires it too.
