Damaged Package? Here's What to Do
Act fast — most carriers require claims within 21-60 days. Follow these steps now.
⚠ Do This IMMEDIATELY When Package Arrives Damaged
- Do NOT throw away any packaging — Carrier will need to inspect original box and packing materials
- Photograph everything — Box exterior, interior packing, all sides of damaged item, shipping label
- Note delivery time and driver — Write down exactly when and how it was delivered
- Do not use the damaged item — Using it weakens your claim
- Contact the carrier within 24 hours — Earlier = better chance of inspection approval
